Our Story
Supporting student and teacher success by co-building with educators
Render believes educators’ insights are key to creating effective technologies for schools
Better when built together
Render is dedicated to positively impacting the education experience through edtech innovation. We partner with practicing educators like you throughout the product development process — incorporating your first-hand experience, feedback, and ideas to co-build tools that address today’s pressing challenges in K–12 schools.
A proud part of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative
Render is the education technology innovation studio within the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI). Co-founded by Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg, CZI is on a mission to help build a more inclusive, just, and healthy future for everyone, and focuses on education, science, and our local community. Because Render is part of this philanthropy, we are able to explore solutions over the long-term.
Co-founded by a former educator
As the founder of The Primary School, Priscilla Chan recognizes that educators hold valuable insights around learning that others don’t. Render’s collaborative approach to edtech innovation is shaped by Priscilla’s belief that educators uniquely understand the challenges, opportunities, and needs of students, and that their perspectives and ideas can be instrumental in developing impactful education tools.
